Your fitness level is calculated from benchmark WODs you've completed - comparing your times against global CrossFit standards. Girl WODs like Fran and Helen, Hero WODs like Murph, and other benchmarks all contribute to understanding your overall capacity.The scale runs from L1 (beginner) to L10 (Games athlete). Each level represents roughly a 10% performance jump - an L8 athlete typically finishes 10% faster than L7. Reaching L6-L7 is a significant achievement - you're likely one of the strongest athletes at your gym. L8+ represents regional-level performance.At L7.5, you're Advanced – likely one of the strongest athletes at most gyms, with room to push toward Elite performance.
